I usually like found footage movies. Usually. Not this one.

Logan is said to have died from radiation poison. His sister and his friend do not believe it so they drive to California to find the truth. And you know what, how about we bring a camera along to document it all. Because reasons!

This low budget, predictable, movie is one you don't have to waste your time on. The story doesn't make a lot of sense and there are actors in this movie that have no business having a SAG card. I'm not saying that I could have done better, but, no, fuck it. Yes I could have. The sister’s delivery of line was laughable. Maybe it wasn't all her fault. She had to read the lines that were scripted and I can only hope that it was a first draft that somehow slipped through the cracks. I found myself yelling at the TV when things just became to ridiculous. There is suspension of disbelief and then there is the pain of watching this movie.

The house in California where Logan died has a fence around it and a radiation keep out sign on it. Windows are blown out but not boarded or covered in anyway and the house right next door still has people living in it. So the radiation story is obviously fake. But the gang still goes into the house, without any protection to investigate. They find a sigil and the neighbor they are staying with keeps waking up in the middle of the night chanting and convulsing. But somehow it takes the gang almost the rest of the movie to figure out that Logan died because he was involved with a satanic cult.

I could go into the cringe worthy dialog and scenes but I already lost 2 hours of my life watching this garbage. Take my word for it, when you want to see found footage go elsewhere. If the shakey-cam of Blair Witch makes you puke and you still want the low budget flair, watch Grave Encounters.

A Haunting on Gabriel Street was a good idea without any money or talented people involved. I give this movie 1 “how did the camera magically turn on when you are all asleep just to record the guy doing the scary thing?!?!” out of 5.
